Long time no hear!
OK, guys sorry for not posting anything for a while. The reasons are plenty, some aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis resulting in almost splitting up, work on the new album, personal issues etc.
But now we are back with a new lineup and also a new album which will be released later this year.
The bad news is – Günny, Sören and Yuri (who replaced Günny for a short time) all left, but the good news is – band founder Martin Christian is back on guitar also for live shows this time and he also brings his son Jason Wöbcke into the band on drums.
So here is our new lineup which we think is the strongest we ever had:

New Guitar Player Yuri Castro
OK guys – here we go:
The band news is, Günny Kruse will leave PARAGON because of personal reasons after our next show to put more focus on his private life and other musical projects. We wish him all the best for the future and separate on friendly terms and want to thank him for all the years we pounded Metal together!
The good news is, we already have a new second guitar player!
His name is Yuri Castro from Brazil and he used to play in ASENBLUT before he moved to Hamburg. He is the only guy who auditioned for the position and we already knew he is the right guy after our first rehearsal. His favorite bands are Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush and Deep Purple and he is a real shredder and his guitar playing is inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steve Morse, Eduardo Ardanuy and Frank Gamble. So give Yuri a big „Hello“!

Our next Headliner Show will be at the Fahrdorf Open Air on the 3rd of June 2022 were we will play a full 90min. set!

Rerecording of „Hellgore“…
It has been a long time with no news. I guess most of you know the reason. We didn´t rehearse since the end of 2019 and played our last show on the 4th Of January 2020.
However, we didn´t just sat around and did nothing but more of this in the next days!
For the Japanese release Of „Controlled Demolition“ we rerecorded a new version of „Hellgore“ because it´s some kind of live standard but we are not very satsified with the version on „Screenslaves“. Unfrortunately the Japanese licensor of „Controlled Demolition“ pulled the plug at the last moment so there was no exclusive release in Japan and we didn´t use the song so far.
So when our good friend Christian Kind of the best record store Plattenkiste in Hamburg asked us for a song to make sure he will survive in this hard times we didn´t hesitate for a moment and gave him this unreleased version of „Hellgore“ for his three CD compilation. Other bands to appear are Velvet Viper, Mantar, Endseeker, Accuser, Black Hawk, Titan Steele, The Wizards, Night Demon etc.
